Defending Camp

This camp will focus on improving the individual players ability to play a specific position(s) on the field. Players will have the option to register as a defender, midfielder, or striker. Each position will have a specific skill set for improvement each day. Curriculum will coincide with CRYSC Player Development Plan and methodology.

10U-12U Boys & Girls

For this age group, players will learn the basics of defending first. Curriculum will focus on 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 defending concepts, appropriate tackling techniques, playing out of the back and much more.

13U-16U Boys & Girls

For this age group, players will develop defensive principles related to the CRYSC curriculum (roles in a 1-4-3-3 & 1-4-2-3-1) both in and out of possession. Players will come away from this camp having learned 1v1 defending concepts, appropriate tackling technique, playing out of the back, playing numbers up/down, appropriate communication, heading & transition.

Finishing Camp

This Camp focuses on an area most players love to take part in but at times is the least addressed technical area of the game �¢?? finishing. Whether you are a striker, midfielder or defender, this camp will improve your ability to score goals and prepare you for the seasons ahead. Players will work in small group sizes with more intentional repetitions at multiple techniques. Our curriculum will cover a wide variety of striking techniques, mechanics, and movement off the ball with exercises tailored for age groups/levels to challenge each player appropriately.

• Runs off the ball in scoring positions

• Target play/turning to shoot
